A Celebration of Scottish Glass

AmandaBaronTiree2016

There's a hive of glass-related activity taking place in Scotland this year: from an international conference celebrating 20 years of North Lands Creative Glass to local walking tours; from mapping historic stained glass to trying your hand at glass blowing.

So, why not join makers, collectors and glass lovers to celebrate the technical talent and artisitc diversity found in Scotland in 2016.

With a wide range of stunning exhibitions to feed your soul, talks and conferences to fire up the imagination and activities to get your creative juices flowing, there's something for everyone.

And, if you're a maker or a glass lover, why not join in the celebration by getting involved?

Let's celebrate!

Who's celebrating?

The Celebration of Scottish Glass is a Scottish Glass Society (SGS) project, working in collaboration with North Lands Creative Glass, Edinburgh College of Art, The Scottish Stained Glass Trust & Symposium, local galleries and makers across Scotland.

SGS gratefully acknowledges the funding received from the National Lottery via Creative Scotland and the combined efforts of enthusaistic volunteers, without whom this project would not be possible.
